More than meets the eye.

In five words, this is Koki.

I remember when I was first getting into KAT-TUN and thinking 'erm, what is this bald guy saying?' and then I watched Cartoon KAT-TUN and he was an instant favourite. He has that charm. Koki is like a jack-in-the-box, bursting with energy and surprises and intimidating at the get go, but as you get closer, crank the lever once more and peek inside the box, there's only a woobie. A blinged up tiedye teddybear. There is so much to love about him, from the way he way he's constantly hyper on screen, a bundle of fireworks lit inside, to the way he is quiet and humble with his words. His jweb essays are something every hyphen should read. Hyphen. He gave us this name. This is Koki who once hated being part of a group, who ripped up KAT-TUN posters. It's the same Koki who now can't see himself as anything other than KAT-TUN's second T. The same Koki who takes care of Kame and Ueda and playfully teases Junno and Maru. I can't see a KAT-TUN without him; it'd be much too quiet, much less colourful. He shouts at the fans one moment and then spends hours shaking their hands in gratitude the next. He kicks Junno and then admits that he'd get angry if anyone else were to tease his twin T. He's loud and brash but make one compliment about his face and he'll be blushing into his hands. He's all about ~gangsta swag~ until he returns home to his zoo and dresses up his dogs, gushing over them in his jweb. He's mischievious and the most laughs I've had as a hyphen are all thanks to him. He's goofy, he's loud, he's obnoxious. He's caring, he's loyal, he's shy. The biggest tsundere. A rapper. An artist.

More than meets the eye.

Perhaps the most misleading thing about him isn't his image at all, but his name.

For a man named JOKER, he's oddly sincere. The most sincere.

And I sincerely adore him; I think we all do.

You talked about one of the things that I admire the most about Koki: how sincere he is. I really trust what he tells us. I didn't like him at first (from CtKt)... he seemed such a bully with Junno. I love love love this! Short, simple, sweet and to the point!

Koki is simply just love, he's simple and easily adored, a JOKER but one that cares about us Hyphens & KAT-TUN and all those who are around him.

His million facial expressions are just pure joy and when he's silly, we have an urge to fool around too.

The way he gets the crowd rowdy with his sadistic tendency but in reality, he's a just saying "I freaking love you all for your support".

And Yes, for him, it's more than meets the eyes! :D

YES. he makes his feelings apparent, either with his words -spoken or written- or his face and just. you know he's being honest. or at the very least, there's a good chunk of truth under the idol talk.

Koki shouting at hyphens = Koki sweet talking to hyphens. He'd get too shy taking the straight-forward route xD

This post actually made me remember the many moments of Dream Boys this year in which - despite how absolutely head over heels i was towards Kame (i don't have to explain that to you of all people :P) and how my eyes were always following him and stuff - Koki was there and he was...well, perfect. Insanely attractive but also just, guh, his presence was a really happy one. It's like you can somehow feel that he loves his fans, it's so genuine in everything he does and jdaojsd

I was brainstorming his nicknames and JOKER was an obvious one and I thought well, that's kinda odd if you think about it. And he chose it himself, too, right? At one point, he really wanted to cement this bad-boy image of his, I think. But ofc he had to abandon it when it became clear to everyone and himself that he was just a giant woobie xD ♥
This comment actually made me remember that you owe us Lacy Top Pics :B *nods* I totally get you. He's what lured me to stick with KT other than Kame *coughs* while I was watching CTKT. He's so bright and quirky. The life of the party. Everything's so much happier when he's around ♥ His sincerity towards his fans and his work just goes to show how humble and down-to-earth he is, too.

In a way, I think that the JOKER alias is kind of fitting for him. If you think about it, he was fooling us all, having this bad-boy-ish image on the outside that didn't really match what he really is and that's what being a JOKER is, right? And so true. It took me some time to actually see through him, and I glad I did. He is sensitive and sweet and a full geek, so different from the image he tries to give. And his care toward the member, his love to KAT-TUN... they are the best.
He gave the fans a place in KAT-TUN name, he gave KAT-TUN a place in most of the raps he write from their songs, trying to sign their name everywhere.
He is less of talk and more of act, even if he write full essays on both his Jweb and OLE series XD

guuuh, I love him. he's in charge of his raps and it's his decision to somehow include all the members; it's his own piece yet he focuses on uniting KT. So much loyalty and squishy member-ai. ♥
