I am now reading this post and laughing like a lunatic... esp the TaNaKame parts... oh god.
So glad to see I wasn't the only one analyzing him to death. I watched Hanamaru and the Shonen Club Prem special last night and I was just wallowing in all the intense love I feel for him.
He's the type of person who would bypass the shorcut, the easy way out, to walk the route that is long and difficult and tedious, all because he finds it rewarding.
I worry about his workaholic tendencies, because he's so strong and has such great will power and pride in what he undertakes that I wonder if he would ever stop if it became too great. I also got that sense that the sauna thing was only halfway fanservice... talking about something teasing, and the other half was this almost spiritual experience for Kame.
His love for spontaneous trips that often gets neglected because of how fandom sees him as this anal, everything-must-be-scheduled-in-my-planner type of guy, when really, all he wants is to rent a car and get away.
THIS THIS THIS... I think people forget that he has to have everything planned to fit it in his schedule, but he really seems like a go with the flow kind of guy. In one of the Dream Boys interviews he talked about how every minute of his day was planned, but it didn't sound like he did the planning. It's kind of telling what he seems to do with his free time: play with his niece, take baths, rent cars and drive off into the sunset. T___T ilh
For starters, the eye contact - four hosts on different sides and he connects with everyone; it's natural and no one's left out.
THIS too... he so engaging and inclusive and you could tell he was making eye contact with the lady who was off camera as well. It's the mark of a great conversationalist and I love the random self-deprecation.
I didn't even blink at the "beauty products" line because it's Kame after all, but yeah, if it was any other man I think there would be embarrassment and hiding or not even revealing the fact in the first place. The way he seems so comfortable in his own skin is beautiful to me.
